Mountain/Valley

We are creatures born for and from the source of the purest love. From the moment we arrive in this vast, beautiful land, rich with opportunity and adventure, we embark on a journey. It is a walk through life, a quest to find the source of love we were created for.

Ever Forward

As we set out on this journey, we encounter others seeking the same goal: to find the source of love. Along the way, we travel in pairs or groups, sharing the road and its challenges. At times, we may part ways and eventually find ourselves in the company of new companions. As beings made for and from love, we begin to notice that when we walk with others who share our path, we feel closer to this source of love that calls to us.

Ever Changing

This journey is one of transformation. As we move forward, we change—our surroundings, preferences, speech, and even the way we listen evolve. Over time, these shifts can make us unrecognizable to our former selves. The 16-year-old version of me would hardly recognize the 30-year-old me. Such is the nature of growth: ever-changing, ever-forming.

Formed and Forming

Every step of the journey shapes us. The valleys and mountains we traverse leave their mark, forming us into who we are and who we are becoming. The end of the journey, however, is not an end at all—it is a beginning. An eternity lies ahead, allowing us to reflect on who we were, who we are, and who we will be.

As I reflect on the present moment, I see how every experience—both good and bad—has brought me to where I am now. Many of these moments feel divinely orchestrated, guiding me toward a deeper understanding of my purpose.

I believe in a God whom I know as YHWH: Father, Good Shepherd, and Provider. He is the source of purest love, a love so profound it draws me in and humbles me to my core. The person I am and the person I am becoming knows no other source of love but Him.

Who We Are

This space is a sanctuary—a place to write, journal, share, create, question, praise, and reflect, whether we find ourselves in the depths of the valley or on the heights of the mountain.

Names, for now, are unimportant. What matters is the walk we’re on, and the transformation it brings. We don’t know who we will be at the end, but we press forward, shaped by every step.

In any given moment, we may be an artist, a scholar, or something else entirely. Regardless, we are always forming into the people we were meant to become.
