Prayer: Walls and Gardens

God, come tear down what I’ve built.

In pursuit of Eden, I’ve built my own walled garden.
Break down these walls that have obscured my sight of You.
Destroy the stronghold I’ve tried to place You in.

Open my eyes to the infinite that is You.

Awaken my imagination to dream of Your grandness again.
Let Your unending current of grace sweep me away
into Your vastness.

There is so much more wonder that is still yet to be seen.
Help me find it in You.

Father, renew me.
Lead me back to Your garden.
Lead me back to Eden.
